The Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) was established in 1989, as one of the most Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation Economic Cooperation mechanisms in the Asia-Pacific region, with nearly 40% of the world`s population, 50% of its trade and 60% of its GDP, it is an important platform for promoting regional economic growth, free trade and investment facilitation. As an important member of APEC, China has not only actively participated in the process of regional economic cooperation, but also promoted regional economic integration through various initiatives and cooperation projects, thus enhancing its influence in global economic governance. To better analyze the economic networks among APEC member countries, we set up the APEC network topic library to help study the Asia-Pacific regional economic cooperation and its far-reaching impact on global economic governance.

Our Lab focuses on the Asia-Pacific region, a data indicator system of six key dimensions including  Asia-Pacific regional trade network, investment network, production network, Innovation Network, FTA network and Supply Chain Network was established, provide comprehensive database support for users. The database allows researchers to analyze economic ties among APEC members, explore the structure and changes in production and innovation networks, and track free trade agreements in the Asia-Pacific region and their impact on global supply chains. The database not only supports academic research, but also provides policymakers and businesses with tools to gain insight into the economic landscape of the  Asia-Pacific region, further contributing to China's increased participation and influence in global governance.
