Abstract: Servitization is the key to realize the transformation and upgrading of manufacturing. Based on WIOD database, this paper study the effects of servitization of manufacturing export on international competitiveness. The empirical results show that: servitization of manufacturing export can improve the international competitiveness of manufacturing industry; the effect of the financial and telecommunication servitization are greater than retail and transport; In addition, onshoring service’s effect on international competitiveness is greater than offshoring, domestic service input can significantly improve the international competitiveness of manufacturing. Quantile regression shows that the higher the industry international competitiveness, the stronger the effect of servitization on manufacturing export.
