Abstract: Since the Party's 18th National Congress, facing a grave and complex international and domestic situation, the CPC CentralCommittee with Comrade Xi Jinping at its core coordinates the overall strategy of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation and once-ina-century global changes, foresightedly proposes the major cooperation initiative of promoting the joint construction of the Belt and Road,and obtains remarkable achievements. The willingness of policy communication has been increasing, and the number of countries and organizations jointly building the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) has been increasing. Facilities connectivity has been steadily promoted, andChina-Europe Railway Express are running smoothly. Trade and investment continue to grow, and economic and trade cooperation is get⁃ting deeper and deeper. The scale of financing continues to expand, and international financial cooperation becomes closer. People-to-people bonds have been significantly enhanced, and friendly cooperation have been continuously deepened. In this process, the joint construction of the BRI has always adhered to the overall leadership of the Party Central Committee, leading the coordination; ministries and commissions promulgate supporting policies, local plannings are following up, and international organizations positive joint, and all of these ac⁃tively cooperate with the four-in-one model; insist on building a human community with a shared future, as well as playing a positive roleof extensive consultation, joint contribution and shared benefits to explore a new paradigm of international cooperation; strengthen thirdparty market cooperation and encourage the BRI countries to integrate into China's industrial chain division system; promote China-Europe Railway Express from trade cooperation to industrial cooperation. The transformation has formed a large channel that unblocks the valuechain in Asia and Europe; adhered to the principle of marketization, and cooperated with the five connectivities to provide a developmentframework and supporting platform for Chinese firms to go global. At present, there are still some difficulties and challenges in the jointconstruction of the BRI. In the future, we need to draw a blueprint for joint construction and promote the high-quality development of theBRI. Firstly, We should build consensus on the joint construction of the BRI and mobilize all parties to participate in it. Secondly, weneed to consolidate the joint construction platform and enhance the supporting role for the joint construction of the BRI. Thirdly, we canbuild a benchmark for the joint construction and promote the high-quality development of the BRI with high standards. Furthermore, weshould build a solid risk barrier and comprehensively increase the capabilities of overseas security and risk response.
