On August 10, China National Railway Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "China Railway Group") disclosed on the WeChat official account "China Railway" that from January to July this year, 11403 China Europe trains had been operated, and 1226000 TEUs of goods had been delivered, up 12% and 11% respectively year on year. Among them, 1776 trains were operated in July, sending 185000 TEUs of goods, and more than 1700 trains were operated in a single month for three consecutive months.

Professor Lyu Yue from the National Institute of Opening up at the University of International Business and Economics stated in an interview with Securities Daily that for a long time, China has introduced a series of supportive policy measures, strengthened standardized management, ensured the sustained and healthy development of the China Europe freight train, and continuously accelerated foreign trade.

The China Europe freight train has provided strong support for the stable growth and optimization of China's foreign trade structure. Foreign Ministry spokesperson Lin Jian stated on July 16th that "currently, the China Europe freight train has reached 224 cities in 25 European countries and connected more than 100 cities in 11 Asian countries." "The China Europe freight train has transported over 50000 types of goods in 53 major categories, and the total timetable for the entire journey has increased to 17 trains per week.

Liang Haiming, president of the "the Belt and Road" Research Institute of Hainan University, told the Securities Daily that there is a relationship of mutual promotion and common development between China Europe Express and China's foreign trade. On the one hand, the efficient and convenient transportation mode of the China Europe freight train provides an important channel and carrier for Chinese goods to go global and for the high-quality development of China's foreign trade. It has become the most dynamic international public logistics product at present. On the other hand, China's import and export of goods continue to grow, with increasingly diversified trading partners and rapid development of new forms of foreign trade such as cross-border e-commerce, opening up more space for the continuous operation of China Europe freight trains.

The relevant measures are still accumulating strength. According to the news released on the WeChat official account "China Railway", since this year, China Railway Group has strengthened the whole process monitoring and control to ensure the safe and stable operation of China Europe trains. Closely cooperating with railway departments of countries along the route, actively utilizing new technologies such as Beidou satellite positioning and 5G, strengthening full process safety monitoring, enhancing security checks, hazard inspections, loading and reinforcement work, effectively ensuring the safe and smooth operation of China Europe freight trains.
