Yue Lyu is the Executive Dean and Professor of Academy of Global Innovation & Governance at University of International Business and Economics(Center for Strategic Studies of Ministry of Education).She has been elected as the Young Top-notch Talent of National Program of China, and Young Leading Scholar of Beijing Social Science Fund, serving as the Chief Expert of Major Projects of National Social Science Fund of China, Deputy Secretary-General of the Youth Forum of the National University Collaboration Group on International Trade Discipline of China, and Deputy Editor of Industrial Economic Review.

Dr. Lyu’s broad research interests mainly focus on theories and policies of Digital Economy, Supply Chain Resilience, Global Value Chain and China, the Belt and Road Initiative, AI and Innovation, etc. She has published more than 100 papers in Journal of Economic Behavior & Organization, World Economy, Review of International Economics, Economics Letters and other academic journals, and also authored two monographs onGlobal Value Chain.

She is a recipient of the Prize of Research Achievements in the Humanities and Social Sciences approved by Ministry of Education of China, the Business Development Research Achievement Award approved by Ministry of Commerce of China, the T.K.Ann International Trade Award, the Yinxing Hong Economics Award, and the Ziji Deng Financial Academic Paper Award, Zhang Peigang Award for Young Scholars in Development Economics, etc.

Yue Lyu received her B.A. and Ph.D. degrees from Nankai University of China. She was a recipient of Fulbright Ph.D Dissertation Research Program Scholarship(2013-2014). She was a Visiting Scholar of Columbia University(2013-2014) and National University of Singapore(2016-2017).
